no it had nothing to do with that.  it was a noticable decline due to how the 
show has changed. kimmel even mentioned it several times.  he didn't care.

dude talked about trump and politics all the time. people get sick of that 
shit.

I watched his show for many years.  I was there in the beginning.  he had a 
bar in the audience and someone puked. they were deepfrying watches in a 
cooking segment.  he got a warning to shape up and he did.  then he became a 
good night talk show host and then it all went to shit.
