I understand what you are going for, but I think you are missing the mark.

Ideologies are a combination of two things: A set of goals and a plan to achieve those goals.

If your goal is to make healthcare affordable and your plan is to achieve this by giving my money to the government do do it, that enters in conflict with my plan (which does not include giving money to the government for plans I disagree with).

So goals might be the same in the broad sense but the plans are irreconciliable.
