Nor do I!  Honestly, I would hope that any adult considering this as a
possibility has discussed it with a mental health professional and has been
diagnosed.  If there are any other psychological issues that need to be
addressed, those could become much worse post-transition if left
unaddressed beforehand.

Yes, and this is a concept I feel like kids (and even many 18 or 21 year
olds) don't really understand... "forever" could be a very long, long time.
