G&L is a guitar company that was founded in 1980 by Leo Fender (of Fender guitars) and George Fullerton (the name G&L stands for George & Leo).  Leo Fender made his last guitars & innovations at G&L, and I think G&L continues to carry the Fender legacy.  I think they make good guitars.
