So I opened up my Amiga 4000, to get the disks out. To my surprise there were 3 disks. The 2 expected pata disks: 1: QUANTUM: PRODRIVE LPS 240 AT 245MB (Sep. 1996) 2: WESTERN DIGITAL: AC-2540 516MB (Feb. 1994) If they still work it should not be a problem to create a disk image from them, and go from there. But they haven't been turned on for some 25 years, so it would be kind of amazing if they still work and data can be read from them. And the surprise disk, mounted on a special card: 3: SEAGATE: ST31200N 1050MB SCSI2 (April 1995) I didn't remember it was in there ;-) And it is going to be a problem. I need to find somekind of scsi interface for the modern desktop. And I'm not willing to spend more then a couple of bucks to find out what is on this disk, that might not even work any more. To be continued... Bye, Wilfred. --- FMail-lnx64 2.3.2.4-B20240523 * Origin: FMail development HQ (39:150/200) .
