But there might have been already a bit of corrosion at the time of removal, if I remember correctly. I don't know if it did any damage. The Amiga 4000 hasn't been turned on since then. And I probably shouldn't because of aged capacitors, that need to be replaced to not cause any further damage before I turn it on... All aged 10 years or older, and not been turned on for maybe 5 to 10 years. All would spin up just fine, but 3 out of 7 or 8 had read problems on some files...
