This is the script used for the FireText updates showing
new fire, and other emergency, alerts for the state of
Victoria, Australia. Not sure if it would work with any
other agency's data - probably not, but you never know...

Originally intended to send SMS messages and limit
responses based on latitude and longitude range, but I
ran out of time and never got those parts finished/tested
(this was one of those things that didn't quite make it
by the end of the allocated weekend). Prints fine to
stdout though.

UPDATE: Three years later I finally finished this and
        got the SMS part working, plus added conversion
        of the Lat. and Long. figures to a
        UTM/WGS84/GDA94 map reference and adjusted it to
        only download updates if they've changed since the
        last check.
