I began diddling around with the keyboard in spring of 1996 by doing fonts and then "discovered" figlets. And I went on to the pictures... I have about a half of a year under my belt and am looking forward to improving. I've included some of my early works in this gallery so you can see how my artwork has evolved. Perhaps I may inspire other budding ascii artists.... I drew a picture on a piece of paper and traced the picture on a plastic sandwich bag (a Ziplock, to be exact). I taped the bag to my monitor and made a rough outline with ascii characters.
