Well, if it is signature lines you're worried about, you could trim it
down by another line by getting rid of the boxing around the signature,
giving you:

  Miyuki                                     _../|_

  "midvale" on IRC                                     |/~`

You could even get away with restoring the original sizes of the waves
back to 6 lines.  Note this not only saves in line count, but also the
whitespace to the right of the dolphin.
