Smile :-) When I studied music we were subjected to all kinds of silly rules, which most of us later broke with abandon. My own composition does a few terrible things, too. Take a closer look at where the two lines go in relation to each other in the second and third bars. My harmony and counterpoint teacher would have marked it "wrong". [But you are mistaken about the bar lengths, though. A triplet, by definition, is three notes played in the time of two. These ones were quavers [=1/8 notes], so there really was a mistake in the number of beats in that bar.] > Or maybe he > doesn't know anything at all about music and he just thought it was a cute > signature. I suspect that he _does_ know something about music, which is why he would appreciate the rediculous analysis of his art. I also thought his artwork was pretty cute: it usually is.
