It can be found in your local SimTel mirror (e.g. ftp.coast.net or oak.oakland.edu) in the file SimTel/msdos/textutil/bigtxt21.zip What it does is take text you supply and draw it using ASCII (or PC graphics) characters. For example, the command "bigtext /c# Sample" would produce: ##### ### ## ## ## ### ### ## ## ## ### ## #### ### ## ####### ## ## ## ## ## ### ##### ## # ## ## ## ## ###### ## ## ## ## ## ## ##### ## ## ##### ### ## ## ## ## ### ##### ### This was done using the default font but any E/VGA ROM or screen font can be used and there are hundreds of those, including many non-Roman alphabets. BIGTEXT also supports banner style (vertical) output and magnification as well as a number of effects which require PC graphics characters or output to a PC screen. Of course, the output can be easily redirected to a file. Any questions or comments should be sent to me via e-mail since I don't ordinarily read this newsgroup. -- William Luitje | ~## |"Everything!
