         |     |   |    |  |       Could even be "hqx" (Mac binhex).
         |     |   |    |  |       These encoding methods are used to
         |     |   |    |  |       convert 8 bit files to regular ASCII
         |     |   |    |  |       so they can go anywhere on the Net.

         |     |   |    |  |___ For Unix Compress, may also be .gz for Gzip.

   On most unix based systems, just type "uuencode filename.uu" at the 
prompt. As mentioned above, the file's name may change.
