[With the exception of the Knight which I saw on someone elses .sig] I am unhappy with the coloring of the black pieces, the queens, the kings, and the colored pawns. Unfortunately to make this board fit on even a large monitor a 6x9 font needs to be used (w/ 8x8 filled in). So, this set may just remain used for a nice .sg or some such. Anyway, improvements on the above mentioned are welcome. Further, I'd like to see some people create a chess set w/ board and all that fits 80 characters across and whatever down. With the following properties: 1. Looks square 2. Discernable pieces 3. Colored squares that don't muddle the figures Good luck, Matthew _ _ |\_ _(W)_ O O O O O |\ ^ /| _(W)_ _/| _ _ |W|_|W|_| /W-.\_ (WW/WW) |_|_|_|_| |W|/W\|W| (WW\WW) _/.-W\ |_|W|_|W| ]_____[ |W( ___) \/__/ \WWWWWWW/ |W|WWW|W| \__\/ (___ )W| ]_____[ |WWW| |WWWW\ |W| \WWWWW/ |WWWWWWW| |W| /WWWW| |WWW| |WWW| |WWWWW| |W| \WWW/ \_._._._/ |W| |WWWWW| |WWW| [_____] /_____\ _/___\_ (_\W/_) \_|_|_/ _/___\_ /_____\ [_____] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ _(W)_ (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) (WWWWW) \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ \WWW/ |W| |W| |W| |W| |W| |W| |W| |W| _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ _( )_ ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ \___/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ _/___\_ [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] _ _ |\_ _( )_ O O O O O |\ ^ /| _( )_ _/| _ _ | |_| |_| / .\_ ( / ) |_|_|_|_| | |/ \| | ( \ ) _/. \ |_| |_| | ]_____[ | ( ___) \/__/ \ / | | | | \__\/ (___ ) | ]_____[ | | | \ | | \ / |=======| | | / | | | | | | = | | | \ / \_._._._/ | | | = | | | [_____] /_____\ _/___\_ (_\ /_) \_|_|_/ _/___\_ /_____\ [_____] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] _ _ %%%|\_%%% _(W)_ O%O%O%O%O |\ ^ /| %%_(W)_%% _/| %%%_ % _% |W|_|W|_| %%/W-.\_% (WW/WW) |_|_|_|_| |W|/W\|W| %(WW\WW)% _/.-W\ |_|W|_|W| ]_____[ %|W( ___) \/__/ \WWWWWWW/ |W|WWW|W| %%\__\/%% (___ )W| %]_____[% |WWW| %|WWWW\%% |W| %\WWWWW/% |WWWWWWW| %%%|W|%%% /WWWW| %%|WWW|%% |WWW| %|WWWWW|% |W| %%\WWW/%% \_._._._/ %%%|W|%%% |WWWWW| %%|WWW|%% [_____] %/_____\% _/___\_ %(_\W/_)% \_|_|_/ %_/___\%% /_____\ %[_____]% [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% %%_(W)_%% _(W)_ %%_(W)_%% _(W)_ %%_(W)_%% _(W)_ %%_(W)_%% _(W)_ %(WWWWW)% (WWWWW) %(WWWWW)% (WWWWW) %(WWWWW)% (WWWWW) %(WWWWW)% (WWWWW) %%\WWW/%% \WWW/ %%\WWW/%% \WWW/ %%\WWW/%% \WWW/ %%\WWW/%% \WWW/ %%%|W|%%% |W| %%%|W|%%% |W| %%%|W|%%% |W| %%%|W|%%% |W| %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%% _( )_ %%_( )_%% _( )_ %%_( )_%% _( )_ %%_( )_%% _( )_ %%_( )_%% ( ) %( )% ( ) %( )% ( ) %( )% ( ) %( )% \___/ %%\___/%% \___/ %%\___/%% \___/ %%\___/%% \___/ %%\___/%% | | %%%| |%%% | | %%%| |%%% | | %%%| |%%% | | %%%| |%%% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% _/___\_ %_/___\_% [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] %_%% _%%% |\_ %%_( )_%% O O O O O |\%%^%%/| _( )_ %%%_/|%%% _ _ | |_| |_| / .\_ %( / )% |_|_|_|_| | |/ \| | ( \ ) %_/. \%% |_| |_| | %]_____[% | ( ___) %%\/__/%% \ / | | | | \__\/ (___ ) |% ]_____[ %%| |%% | \ %%%| |%%% \ / |=======| | | %%/ |% | | %%| |%% | = | %%%| |%%% \ / \_._._._/ | | %| = |% | | %[_____]% /_____\ %_/___\_% (_\ /_) %\_|_|_/% _/___\_ %/_____\% [_____] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] [_______] -- -- Matthew W.
