                               ARABIC NUMERALS
                               ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~

Numerals written in Arabic look just like numerals written in English.
This is because the numerals the Arabic people came up with are just
tons easier to work with than the ones the Romans came up with and
everybody switched over to the Arabic numerals a couple of centuries
ago for everything except the dates at the end of movie credits.  In
fact, we still refer to our numerals as "Arabic numerals".
