However, most fo the Arab countries use (officially) the Hindi numerals. Yes, kind of strange to see somebody giving something to the world then stop using it. There is a big come back to the Arabic numerals tho, due to nationalism and other factors. Many groups, and gouvernemnets are switching back to Arabic Numerals, the real ones. For example, In Lebabon, offially people use the Hindi numerals, some groupos withing the country use the Arabic ones. In Lybia for example, they strictly use the Arabic numerals (the real ones). I donno where the origin of using the Hindi numerals came from... no idea.... actually....wanna laugh..... I did not know that the Arabic Numerals were Arabic untill I attended school in North America!!! yes....it is true...
