That was simple to fix. > I also noticed slowdowns while using the Arc Generic tool. This problem turned out to be nasty. For fixing it, I had to make a lot of changes to all of the tools. Hopefully I did not break any of them... > I also thought of some nifty features. That's just like you :-) > The Fill tool's pattern part could have a live preview of the pattern as > it was edited. > You already show a live preview when you Choose a pattern. Right. I will think about it. Problem is, that the textarea is editable, in order to modify the pattern... So I think I need to toggle between editable (= no preview) and not editable (= preview). For the moment, I just made a very small change: JavE now remembers the pattern last chosen from the library. > The pattern editor should allow you to save your own patterns. Isn't than what happens when hitting the "Add..." button? It creates a new pattern, instead of overwriting existing ones, though... > The default pattern is not available for me to Choose again if I edit it. I fixed that. The default pattern is now contained in the pattern library: "Honeycomb". > BTW I improved it - Here is a better honeycomb pattern : > \__/ > / \__ Now also contained in the library: "Honeycomb 2" > some bonus patterns : I will look at them and maybe add the one or the other. > Also I think I can improve upon the circles in the Elipse Algorithmic tool. It is very hard to improve the existing algorithm... One option is to change the tool, so that at least for small circles, the circles will be chosen from a fixed setup, contained in a (new) configuration file. To cover all the circles from 1 x 1 to 13 x 13 this means one has to draw 7*7=49 circles by hand... Regards Markus
