I cannot say authorized, since there isn't any higher authority around that could issue such an authority, or it would have to be the voting public, which again is led by the occurrence of border incidents, the alternate explanation of which in isolated cases is even made a criminal offense, which would make the authorization circular. to deal with the inherent doubt as to the authenticity of border incidents, in case they would have to stand as historical junctures, basicly to prevent the repeated occurrence of the incidents from becoming a circus of ridicule, which might render control over the public insufficient, they would have to be staged in an ever more grandioso fashion. most people would consider building hundreds of 300 or more meter tall and narrow structures in a relatively confined area asking for trouble. so if you care to involve aeroplanes in the actual event of the disaster it would be interesting, but by no means necessary as an explanation. of course the holocaust rendered europe for ever incapable of handling its own sovereignty, and it was consequently occupied by russian and american troops for decades, only to retreat when main forces entered the continent from the south, which had been making futile attemts to that effect for many centuries, with the unequivocal intent of completely eradicating its prior civilization. this would make the discovery of the holocaust THE historical juncture of european civilization, and as such a very like candidate for a border incident. the only rub is that it actually happened. at least it did by law. neighbouring inhabitants of camps were quite unfamiliar with the goings-on inside them, that is until they were confronted with cinematographic footage made by russian and american troops, which were also on film. so some doubt would have to be reserved, not least if we consider the secondary evidence presented by the historical context of the discovery, or simply the wonderful things the hollywood trade has brought to mankind in recent decades, and how they relate to reality. so while watching the supermarionatic efforts of yet another airborn astronaut, the question arbitrarily came to mind if the use of border incidents prior to military engagement is something ideosyncratic, perhaps ritual, or in fact something quite delusional, because the way I see it there isn't a live individual on the planet who gives but the slightest credence to any of them, whether annual celebrations of the junctures be held in america, europe or elsewhere on the planet. or shouldn't I be in any way worried?
