Can something be 'all' and have a 'non' at the same time? Anyway, I agree, it is a mix of computer generated and hand drawn. The ET, ships, robots, guy with glasses etc are hand rendered and then animated. Planets, backgrounds, people > 16kb in a one second time frame are computer generated.
