Have you looked at LaTex? Do you have a sample > page we can see to get an idea of exactly what you are trying to do? No, LaTex doesn't produce ASCII-craft (preformartted text)... It's not so easy to post some examples... I have lost most of my archieves... Though I 'll try: Example of text wrapping: To allow for maintenance of long docments graphics should anchored to paragraphs or sections... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Will it change something? If a unit (F) sees two units, one (B) behind the other (A), it can't shoot at B unless it [F] is a missile launcher or a heavy infantrymen (at least, that is so in Dune-2) And what should F do if the player gives it the order to attack B (as you wrote, the player can see B)? I think, the player can see only such units which are seen by any of his units or radar stations. If the hidden unit B is not seen by any of the player's units the player shouldn't see B too. And if F can't see B, but say G has spotted B, then the player can see B. And if he orders F to attack B, F should approach the indicated location and find B and attack it. -+---+---+---+ -+---+---+---+---+ I wonder how do you plan to | | | ( | | | | ( check if B is really hidden -+---+---+---\ -+---+---+---+---\ behind A for the given unit F. | | B | ) | | B | | ) In the first picture all the -+---+---+---/ -+---+---+---+---/ three units are arranged along a | | A | ( | | A | | ( vertical line and B is certainly -+---+---+---\ -+---+---+---+---\ hidden. | | | ) | | | | ) -+---+---+---/ -+---+---+---+---/ But in the picture at right F | | | ( | | | | ( has moved one cell to the right. -+---+---+---\ -+---+---+---+---\ And what? One of main distinctions of my visibility system from the classical one is the fact that in my system large non-camouflaged objects (a harvester) will be seen from higher ditances than small and well-camouflaged (lying light infantry) and another disticntion is that it will take more time to spot the latters than the formers, other conditions being equal. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Example of a hierarchical numerated list: (Sorry for Russian text but I hope you get the idea) Such lists should be mainteined automatically (so that inserting new element didn't screw the hole list) MS Word for Windows is a good example of this... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. ???? ? ??? ?? ???????, ?? ???????? ????????? ?????????? ???????
