  Yep, I have seen vim. But it is a text editor  with  only  few
  formatting features... It's really powerfull at  working  with
  the content, but not with the formating thereof...

  I can use that virtual mode to make some ASCII  drawings,  but
  how to apply it to text formatting I  don't  know...  I'm  not
  gonna format text manually,  symbol by symbol. In fact, that's 
  what I desire to avoid...
