Hi,

I have continued work on JavE 6.0. In order to have a stable 6.0 version
soon, I decided to release a first "release candidate" 6.0RC0:

 From now on I will no longer add new features, but rather concentrate on
fixing bugs and making minor improvements. Please check it out and let
me know about any problems or inconveniences.

Here is a list of changes since the last integration build release
i20070819:

  - Added a JRE check at startup in order to report outdated JREs as
    error. The check is even JRE 1.1 compatible. So migrating from JavE 5
    should be a bit easier.

  - New Java Runtime Environment (JRE) requirements: 1.6.0 or greater
    required to run JavE (this is mainly because the underlying library
    disy-commons for the user interface has been updated).

  - Bugfix: Version check (menu "Help" > "Check for Updates") did not
    work on some systems.

  - Lots of other minor improvements and bugfixes.
