For the coolness of it , the devolper team have added the option to select between a number of pixelshaders that will be applied to any 3D scene. For OpenGL you can (amongst others) choose ASCII - And guess what .. it renders the entire scene in ascii-art :) I just beat Xaero (the masterbot) in Quake 3 while running the ASCII shader :) It was . . weird .. intriguing .. and hard since you loose quite a lot of detail this way. It would be more playable if their ASCII conversion was better, it has a lot of room for improvement. Heh .. they should have consulted Markus Gebhard *g*
