My Jar files are currently associated with : C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin\javaw.exe I suggest you also associate your jar files with the javaw.exe of your Java version. Reinstalling the JRE will also fix it I think. Under W9x I think you have to open a folder and select Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types and change it from there.
