In other words, the impossibility of this picture is not given by its shape, but by how it looks combined to what we personally think of it. It is the fact that we think that it is rigid and that it recalls us of a bolt, that makes us feel as if it was impossible....but of course I am saying nothing new, I am just explaining that as at first I didn't think of a "bolt" or something like that, I didn't see the "impossibility" of it. Just to conclude, the fact that you cannot paint the front of it has nothing to do with impossibility of the pucture, just think of the Moebius Strip! Michele Cerulli
