Not exactly, Veronica.

Metapad and editpad are MUCH more better (rectangular selecting of text,
smart shortcut keys and yet fast (it loads in an instant). Metapad is
smaller (100kb) and *easier*, but Editpad offers a lot of very useful
functions of which I couldn't even think before.
