The program is intended for people with technical/scientific and/or artistic background, any genre, any nationality, who wants to learn more about how advanced technologies can be used in art. Art in a wide sense - meaning visual art, music, text, dance, drama, etc. Art & Technology is also suitable for people with a technical background who wants to learn more about how to use their knowledge in artistic applications. The program started in 2002 and recieved considerable interest and a large number of applications. Now it's time for the next group of students, starting in September 2003. Example of courses: applied mathematics and programming, generative and processing techniques for text/image/sound, robotics, sensor technologies, alife techniques, with international guest-lecturers and cross-disciplinary projects and seminars.
