(hmm, your news reader seems to have removed your ObAscii.  you should
check for updates for that bug.)

the expression "politically correct" must have changed its meaning
over there.  it used to mean the mainstream opinion, the opinion which
was most universally respected and accepted.  by being politically
correct, you would offend as few people as possible.  it seems to me
that "sucking up to the lunatic fringe" is very unpolitically correct
in today's climate.
