I never use one.  When I first started out I did and then I would
touch it up from their.  But I found that It limited the effect and
ruined any chance for ones own stile to come out.  Of course I was
using some hacked up scripts I had writent to automate the process via
convert (which is part of the Image Magick software program)

The only thing I use now is a transparent aterm, emacs inside of that
and what ever image I am converting put as the wallpaper with
Esetroot.


I posted a screen shot of what it looks like to one of the binaires
groups a while back and I could do another example if someone wants.
