I'm looking for some info and tools into real time
ascii video processing...

the goal would be to take some sort of image stream
and convert it into ascii files...

i know there are alot of different approaches to this...

but i'm just looking for some background info..
so far, all i have to go on is the AAlib for linux...


any help would be appreciated.
