I am counting around 20 but mostly it looks like juat a combo of other smaller symbles like the one for wheel and hand which makes since if you think of it as a quick moving hand (it means attacking or hitting) | Another cool one that I like is the old kanji for "kame" (the new one | is a simplified version of the old one). See if you can find it -- | it's one of the rare kanji that actually somewhat looks like what it's | supposed to represent.
