Blah.  I said something to one person last night that was so out of
character for me that he ran under an umbrella and poked he head out
from under its protective covering to see if the sky was falling.

And then again last night someone was telling me that I should change
my name because "you arn't the same caustic antisocial person I used
to know."  

And here was a tit for tat on the same theme of characteristics:
Her:  "You seem much more normal these days."
Me:   "People who want to be raped murderd and raped again in the name
      of science don't get to call people, much less me, normal.  It's
      all in the handbook."
Her:  <face moves into that look that only 5 year old tomboys seem to
      be able to pull off.  The one she does does so well when she
      knows she is caught.  You know the look that is half pout and
      half "lets wrestle" look they get on occasion?>
