In fact look at the embarrassing sig, that is modifications of other ppls art... (that 'B' traversty is meant to be a Giant Bee!) I'm writing a RogueLike game that may have fantasy characters larger than one square, and have been looking for ideas about how to best represent them in ASCII. The side on view seems to suck - maybe top down with fill art? * The human size should be 7by7 or smaller (too small?) * Larger monsters bigger to scale perhaps * Should be able to point in 4 directions * Maybe animate a bit as they walk * I can use a full colour display Any ideas anyone? Any sites specialising in small ASCII art? How should I handle credits etc? I've looked around and found some ideas but the game looks like it will turn out fugly... -- ABCGi abcgi@codemonkey.com.au http://users.bigpond.net.au/abcgi/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- ...........................
