Beyond that I know nothing. Including if I have one > installed on my system. JRE stands for Java Runtime Environment. There's one for pretty much every OS in existence (more or less, anyway). It should be all you need to run most java apps. I'm not sure if the JRE has the appletviewer with it, if not you'd need the JDK or a web browser to play the game ... both of which work on linux. Well, that's if the applet cant be used as an application (some can run both as an app and an applet)
