I am running linux kernel 2.4.18 on Slackware 8.0. I have the newest JRE from Sun, and just downloaded this new release of JavE (and the figlet fonts). I put everything into said directories. I get a whole bunch of errors to my shell like this: Font specified in font.properties not found [--symbol-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific] The JavE documentation said this is ok and to ignore it though, so I am doing so. Once JavE starts up, I get a little window saying "Now starting..." etc. It loads some thing (says that it is) and then I get a single window on my screen that is freehand generator or something. It has a "Mode" drop-down box, and a box to select Style and Size (both are greyed out though) as well as a checkbox for Mix. I've checked the jave docs and so far havent found a solution, I am going to continue searching, if anyone has ideas, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
