I think that your version above was the one I came across when I searched to make sure I wasn't posting something too derivative: I really like your Asterix, but I was more interested in doing something smaller scale. Note that in the larger scale you can draw his shortsword quite accurately, whereas in small scale, I was at a loss as to how to draw it without it looking... um.... well, try for yourself!
