The funny part IMO is Mandy's and Fan Boy's sadism and possibly Nerd Boy's ability to get himself in trouble. > 241 was good because it left the reader asking questions - what will > happen? Your sense of humour seems very strange to me. I've always thought of a joke as something that ties up all the loose ends. The punch line, IMO, should tie everything together in an unexpected way. I hate things that leave the reader/viewer asking questions. It doesn't strike me as the author trying to promote discussion and provoke thought, it just strikes me as plain lazy. It's like songs that fade out because the "composer" couldn't be bothered to write a decent ending. > Was it funny? Mildly.... Of course, it started to wear after a while > before it became clear that NB was on hiatus. NB241 wasn't even meant to be funny. I clearly don't understand your sense of humour, and I suspect that I never will... :\ -- OO Joaquim Gndara | Official Nerd Boy site: .||. | http://nerdboy.port5.com (UK) bb jg | http://nerdboy.xepher.net (US)
