LOL ... it wasn't intended to be an advert! ;)
merely a quick fix for MsOutlook users until
they discover for themselves the fixed-width
font of their choice

there is a list of fonts described in the
Ascii-Art Documents Archive that people have
found useful on a variety of OS

unfortunately Lucida-Console is NOT available to ALL MsOutlook users
              ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
by default but Courier-New is

... its not my fault ... blame Bill Gates

as far as true-type fonts go ...
i like Lucida-Console for some ascii-art for its heavy-weight boldness
and like Courier-New  for some ascii-art for its light-weight appeal

ps: your smiley has a double-chin unless that's a bug ;)
