Try this diddle :- _^^_ ##()-[\ ] [ | /]-()## ##()-[\|| ] [|||/]-()## [IIII] [IIII] [IIII]_+ [IIII] [IIII] [IIII] [IIII] _.-[IIII]-._ _-' [IIII] '-_ .' [IIII] '. .' '-. __ _ .-' '-.________.-' (Suggested font - Lucida Console) I've changed it from a 5-string to a 4-string banjo and altered the number of tuning pegs from 6 to 4 (and staggered them). I've changed the character representing each string from an | to an I to represent the fret lines as well as the strings. I've had a go at making a round body, but round is hard with ASCII so I think it looks like a deflated football (please re-diddle my diddle, somebody!). If you notice the headstalk, I've made the strings wind into the appropriate machine heads. I shortened the tuning pegs on the end of the machine heads. I also added the band that holds the strings in place at the body of the banjo. -- Graeme Porter -^-_ _ / [_][_]_:_ Proud owner of a 1978 /| _||_ v Pearl Fiberglass Shell kit | / \ | -=/=\\____//=\=jaa "I married Miss right, I just didn't know her first name was 'Always'" -- Anonymous
