Yes, there is and you would not enjoy an ascii picutre from another language. This is why there is a wide range of country on Usenet. For ASCII Art, to be appreciate by all, it is usually understood to with the ASCII from 32 to 127. I think it is also a matter of respect for all. Now, in your ascii pictures, most of it was in ascii (I did not check dutifully) with the exception of text written because it was first intended to an french audience (your friends). But when you send it to an international audience, we all have to understand, how it is going to be view by the others. I case of others language, you could have translate "" by "eeEC" and there would have not been any problem. Plus a few more people would have enjoy it. :-) It should be that way till we have a UNICODE Art. ;-) I also enjoy the Text Art in japaneese, theirs characters give more expression in picture. But I can only view it in GIF. :) >4) You should be french-speaker tu understand me... or I should learning >english... ;o) It would better to say that you will continue to learn, for you already known enough to communicate. >5) Are there any software to transform a bitmap file to an ASCII file ? It does also convert character from to e one character at the time (unless I have not found the way of doing it). And By the way, Markus, I silently thank you every time I use JAVE. /\ _[__]_ ;<><>; | \/ | \==/ Rc ,,, ascii@VotreZone.com qo.op \-/ Rc
