I guess I'll just have to learn to cope with that. *wallows in self-pity* Well, that was boring. > 223 > --- Duh. Of course Fan Boy and Warez Dude are brothers. Have you seen their insane hair style? Helloo-oo?! > 224 > --- These three first strips were originally meant to be a single strip, the punchline being the one I used in NB224. The two first strips in this story arc is thus my attempt to "milk" the original idea for all it's worth. As if my ideas were worth anything. *laugh track* > 225 > --- Classic NB weirdness. After making this one, I decided that it was as good a place as any to just bail out of the story arc. I think I'll do that from now on. Who needs closure, anyway? > 226 > --- This strip is really just a precursor to the next strip. I needed to build up to an idea I got. In this particular comic, that was pretty easy. New invention, wham bam thank you Bob. (That's my uncle.) The book is not LotR. It's some Terry Pratchett book, or something. > 227 > --- That's it? That's the idea I based a whole story arc on? Boy, does this suck or what? Actually, it doesn't. Not quite, anyway. There's some new art in here. I had fun drawing the dwarf and the troll. > 228 > --- "None taken." That's funny. I can't understand why I didn't use that as a punchline. Maybe because there is no pun, so how could he have intended one? Ahh, whatever. > 229 > --- I like this. The troll looks menacing, and the joke is OK. > 230 > --- A lot of action here. Can you tell that trolls and dwarves think elves are gay? Can you also tell that I didn't stick to the non- closure idea? Plenty of closure here, even if it IS deus ex machina.
