I have metapad installed as my notepad replacement .. it starts up superfasat
and can handle files of any size .. and even allows me to change quickly between
two viewing fonts .. I have mine set to Courier New 9 , and Lucinda Console.

I cannot however do blockediting .. it's one major flaw (in respects to
ascii-art editing) .. Which is why I still use Textpad for my ascii-art work.
