The Win95 explorer was less bloated and did not integrate Web capabilities (read: bloat) and was therefore faster , more responsive and more stable - plus it used fewer resources. 98lite can among other things hack this explorer into Win98 , Win98se and WinME A lite version of windows runs faster and is more stable. If someone happen to have an english Win95 a b or c they are very welcome to send me the 3 needed files from it .. sincce I have a Danish Win95b that does'nt do well with my english Win98se .. ofcourse this all matters less now that I run WinXP on my main system - But it could come in handy when I assemble a new slower PC from spare parts (I'm already building one for my parents at the moment)
