Textpad does this, Editpad does not. While we're at it .. a preview could be nice so you could see the characters move as you dragged the selection with the mouse .. it makes it easier to align text. So for ascii-art work i'd say "Close .. but no cigar". I also took a look at your other programs .. While HelpScribble(tm) sounds like a useful program for thoose that have thoose needs I know there are free programs that does the very same thing. DeployMaster(tm) ... naahh .. I'd go with the Nullsoft installer anyday I hope I'm not being honest/mean here. Kind Regards CeeJay
