The post you replied to said this: OK Guys, This needs to end. Why are we whining about this? As for children not liking ascii art. . .I know kids between the ages of 6 and 60 who all like ascii art. And for words like "L8tr", "L8tz" . . .etc. WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for me, I'm a southerner (for the foriegners, from the southern United States) and we make up words all the time. Knowhutimean? Itz so kewl to mess with the language, sure it becomes somewhat cryptic and occasionally esoteric but that is what makes it fun. We know and understand proper english, but prefer our own dialect. In other words, Let us talk or write the way we want to when were relaxin'. If you ever see me on tv then I'll use proper english. Just consider it the "modern art" version of ascii art. (U know they can make some funky stuff and call it art these days.) Isn't the " :-) " a way to express an emotion without having to type as much? And aren't versions of this called ascii art? Stop complaining. 'course I think he could have proofread his post and corrected the "cna" that showed up. But even that atrocity is ridiculous to argue about. BTW: One of these dayz I gonna have to learn me how to draw that stuff. L8tr Dudes
