 Well - it might have happened ages ago, and I personally would rather
produce correct HTML than support ancient software that is buggy.
Making thinks buggy because some broken software displays it correct
sounds somewhat awkward to me.  Rather report that brokenness and let
the users decide if they want to support such stupid software....

 Thats mozilla 0.9.5, to be correct.  Opera doesn't show it, konqueror
does it correct, and all the textmode-browsers I know  *eg*
