Ahh .. why did'nt you say so ? :) OK - You are using the Outlook Express 6 that came with Windows XP. (I know - I'm psychic ;) Go choose "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Read" and set both font to Courier New .. you can set the size to whatever you like .. I choose "smaller" on my PC. You can do the same thing with the "Send" options .. set the fonts to Courier New (and about 9 point that works for me) Now you can see Ascii-art in Outlook Express You can in a similar way set Notepad and other program to use Courier New or another fixed-width font you like .. most people go either Courier New or Lucinda Console .. but there are others too. Then you can see the art as they were meant to be seen. And create some of your own too ;) Kind Regards CeeJay
