F.x in the Thin / thick linedrawing and the Imageconvertor. The ascii images on this page http://www.chris.com/ascii/art/html/toystory.html show really well different kinds of shading. Dark : #### MMMM WWWW #### MMMM WWWW #### MMMM WWWW Medium : 8888 $$$$ OOOO 0000 8888 $$$$ OOOO 0000 8888 $$$$ OOOO 0000 Light : !!!! :::: !!!! :::: !!!! :::: I'd like to see a imageconversion technique that reduced the colourdepth of the image and then tried to apply thick/thin linedrawing .. like JavE can do today with 2 shades .. only with a few more shades. Also I'd like a whiteout brush (maybe of different sizes) that removed characters like the eraser but antialiased the remaining chars ( again see http://www.chris.com/ascii/art/html/toystory.html for an idea of what I mean ) > > __ > > (2a) > > > > ability to add own models to the 3d renderer [..] > > Well, you can do that by pasting your text into the textarea. The most interesting part is finished. A cool > option would be 3D-Text... Another route to take could be too take the rendering code and cut it from JavE and make a renderer for an already established 3D modeller. > > _ > > (3) > > > > a tool making speech bubbles in different styles where you first type > > the text like in the text box editor and then specify where the line > > should go to > > Well, looking at all the replies to this topic there seem to be pretty > many people waiting for this feature. It is not something I can write in > one or two evenings, but I will think about a speech bubble tool... Anything else you can think of to aid in the creation of cartoons would be nice. I was thinking that the clipart could contain a slew of different characters (with the authors permission) , objects .. backgrounds and characteraccesories like hats and hands and tails .. Perhaps a character creation studio .. that could be fun! Choose a body , some legs , arms , a head , hair .. just like one of them RPG character creators. Paste on other objects like mustaches , hats , axes , swords , rayguns , eyes , breasts , shoes .. etc. Also it needs to be much faster to choose a clipart. I thought of either defining hotkeys to certain clipats you use a lot (not very flexible though) , or defining a hotkey + mousebutton combination .. f.x CTRL + Rightmousebutton or something like it , that would bring up a quick menu allowing you to choose the image from menu of catagories with submenues where the cliparts themselves were named by their title > Hm, seems there is a lot of work for this evening and the next weeks. > Well, I will try to complete the next release as soon as possible - > hopefully it will aready contain some of the demanded features. Yeah ! Kind Regards Christian 'CeeJay' Jensen
