Ok, here you are: `8b | Y8. | Yb | 8b | 2 `8p | 3.5 * x - 1.2 * x + 0.2 Y8. | Y8. | Yb | 8) Yb | dP 8b | dP `8L | d8 `8L | d8 `8L | d8' `8L | d8' `8L | d8 `8L | dP Yb | dP Y8 | x=-1.5..1.5 ,8P Y8. | y=-1.0..9.0 d8' `8o | dP Y8. | d8P `Yb. | ,8P `8o_ | ,dP' `Yb. | ,dP' `Y8o._ | _,o8P' '"P8ooooooooo8P"' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''|''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' | | You don't like the thick line mode? No problem, there will be others: \ | | | '. | \ | \ | \ | \ | '. | / `. | ,' \ | .' \ | / ` | / ` | ' ` | ' ` | / \ | ,' `. | ,' \ | / \ | ' `. | ,' \ | - `. | /' `. | ,' -. | ,' '-. | ,-' '-..______,.--' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''|''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' | | Oh, you also want the second graph plotted into the same diagram? Here you are: `8b\ | Y8.\ | Yb\ | 8b\ | `8p| | / Y8:. | / Y8\ | .' Yb\ | ' 8) Yb\ | 2 / dP 8b\ | 4 * x - 1.2 * x + 0.2 / dP `8L\ | / d8 `8`. | / d8 `8`. | ,'d8' `8\ | ,'d8' `8\ | ,'d8 `8\ | ,'dP Yb. | ,'dP Y8. | /,8P Y8\ | /d8' `8d | 'dP Y8. | /d8P `Y-. | _;8P 2 `8\_ | ,dP' 3.5 * x `Y\. | _,dP' - 1.2 * x + 0.2 `Y-o._ | _,-8P' '"-8oooooooo-8P"' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''|''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' | x=-1.5..1.5 | y=-1.0..9.0 Still worrying about accuracy? Well, with horizontal lines you can have a resolution from up to 4 levels per character, for vertical lines it only is about 1 or 2 (for the classic line style). As the only ascii plotters I have seen yet have a resolution of 1 line per character, I am pretty happy with the polts.
