What about Netscape 3.0? On my notebook I still use this browser (it is a 486, it has a slow internet connection and no cd-rom - I do not wnat to install a different browser). And at university there are lots of computers with NS <4 running on AIX and Solaris. Why should I exclude people using the browser they prefer from viewing my site if I can obviously serve them quite well by this little trick

In some browsers you can even turn off CSS support.

I understand that you want to write good html code, but you have to
divide between theory (standards) and practice (browsers and there way
to not completly follow the standards).
