I have checked, and i'm afraid that FA can only handle POP mail and not HTML
mail.

I can! Right-click any NG in the NG-list pane, select "Default properties",
click the "Mark read" tab and set both "When retrieving new message headers" and
"When retrieving marked message bodies" to "Do not mark any existing messages
read"

<g> I have been using FA for about 3 years now, and i still find features i
didn't know it had! It's a good thing FA comes with an helpfile! :-)
